67-72 dash bezel question
I have a 1972 Cheyenne Super C20 that I'm restoring and would like to replace the dash bezel for the instrument cluster. I'd like to stay with the woodgrain. I'm curious what experience others have with this, and have a few questions:
- Is there any difference between the aftermarket bezels? (is better than another?). I am seeing prices ranging from $32 up to $100. - What experience do folks have with either purchasing a bezel with the woodgrain already placed on it, purchasing a black one and putting on the woodgrain sticker, or making your own sticker out of woodgrain material? Thanks in advance! Brian |

Re: 67-72 dash bezel question
I would check out one of the board vendors, like GMCPauls.com or check the vendor area - https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...play.php?f=195
They will usually know what is best of the offerings on the market. |

Re: 67-72 dash bezel question
Sorry we do not carry the wood grain dash bezels as they are poor quality from all the manufacturer suppliers. If you opt to stay with wood grain you want to use a ALL chrome dash bezels with a wood grain applique. The reason for this is where the wood grain ends isn't precise and if you use the black and chrome version you will see wood grain a sliver of black then chrome trim around gauge openings. Using all chrome thus provides the best appearance.
