Re: Hood bracket foam
Subscribed. My K20 still has the original foam.... which will be 52 years old in a few months.

Re: Hood bracket foam
All the vendors sell them. My last package came from Classic Industries.

Re: Hood bracket foam
All trucks got pads in the hood. I recall some being more like the material under the rubber floor, not foam. You notice it missing, I know that

Re: Hood bracket foam
I have noticed my hood "flapping" while going down the road sometimes, I will have to get a set.

Re: Hood bracket foam
I just got the 12$ set from The car and truck shop out of California and the quality is nice. It is a closed cell style, very pliable and stretchy. After 50+ years they have become stiff and crunchy. Like some of my best friends... lol.

Re: Hood bracket foam
Some "kits" do not seem to include as many pieces. I had this kit which I installed https://www.classicparts.com/1967-72...ctinfo/38-357/ Used an adhesive on the brace/reinforcement side to keep pads from moving around or falling out.

Re: Hood bracket foam
Guess that’s why I was having trouble finding them seems every vendor calls them something different. I’m ordering the kit from Classicparts it’s seems more complete
