orange thingy at Reno

So here's the one that really confused me. So much of it was so very cool and done well, but it was like the designers just got led astray with the grill.

Sacto,

Do you have a straight side shot of this truck? I can't stand the frontend but the paint job is close to what I am planning for my truck.

I love the motor, wheels and paint but that front end is probaly the most fulgar thing ive seen.. slap a 67-68 grill in there and you would have a kick ass truck

If it wasn't a show truck, I bet he'd have cooling problems with that small an intake. Looks like a '67 body w/ a '69 hood. Nice color. Too bad about the face.

no side shot

NPilot1975,

Sorry, too many people to shoo out of the way to get a complete side shot.

So, is that part of Hot August Nights? Wish I could be there, but maybe I can plan a visit to see the son, during August, next time.

Saw a buncha cars/trucks headed toward Reno (assumption), the first week of August, while at Dixon Best Western.

But, to each his own, and whoever owns it must really feel good about it to show it off. I think it's just a 69-72 front end, IMO.
