A truck I saw on vacation!

I saw this truck on vacation in North Dakota 2 weeks ago. It had a 4sp & 8 bolt hubs BUT the cab said it was a C10. For those who are interested, it was right on the main road in Dodge, ND. I THOUGHT it could be a 50th truck ...

That front wheel looks like it has 6 bolts...which would be a C-10

Yup, and there is probably a step side bed under that utility box.
Doesn't look like a 50th from here, no white on the body ow what looks like original paint, and the seat (asumed to be original) isn't white and gold either.
None the less, it looks like a low rust cab there, but there's no tellin what the bed looks like under there. Is the engine missing? Or is that just from the pic being distorted.

I didnt want to go pokeing around too much inside the truck & under the hood (the plate was still vaild) so I dont know what was in there. The front end looks weird 'cause the other front tire is flat.

Longhorn - you think theres a stepside under there? Thats wild. I just assumed that it would be a purpose-build utility bed that bolts straight to the frame. Were beds like that kits or something?

Kind of a Krue mobile in Chevy! .

Sometimes I think it would be kool to do one up with a utility box. Definitely be different.

Notice how the rails are visible on mine. The 68 probably has a purpose built tool body.
Thanks for posting the pic Bill. If your interested I still have the toolboxes.

I actually might be Krue. Either for the shop or for the trailor I hope to make some day. We'll figure it out whenever you want to pick up the bed.

that is a very good point on the top rails sticking out on the green one pictured. That 68 may well be a special box and not just add on panels.
I have seen 3 trucks like the green one, and all had step side beds under all the boxes.
