Heater core removal ?
Is there a trick to getting the heatert box out of a 90 pickup???? I have removed about everything under the dash and about 6 bolts on the firewall and this @#+_(!! thing still won't come out, its loose but thats it !!! thanks tony

6 screws, if i remember right.
remove them and the core falls out. the toughest is one screw between the box and the floorboard.

Are you trying to take out the whole box?? You can just take the bottom off and replace the core without removing the enitire box.

bottom off
Hey, I didn't think it would come out that easy, the manual said to take the whole box out, so thats what i was tryin to do, I found what was holdin it in the ac pipe , I don't want to disconnect that if I don't have to, thats the old one with r-12 in it, Is there any trick to gettin it out the bottom of the box with out takin it out ?? thanks
