Re: 1967 GMC Pickup - Museum Quality
I still have the truck. It sits in the garage but I do plan on going through it and starting it up early this summer. No plans to take it out and show it at this moment. I will be happy to take any pictures of certain areas if anyone is restoring one.

Re: 1967 GMC Pickup - Museum Quality
That’s really awesome.
I’m in the process of buying a very original 67 chevy with 40k miles. There are a few things that I have questions about. If you were able to show pictures of these areas that would be really awesome. - heater hose stampings - any chalk marks on the radiator core support - close up of hood hinge (are they coated or not) - close up of hood latch (is it coated or not)

This is freaking awesome... I love the fawn interior on these trucks.

Re: 1967 GMC Pickup - Museum Quality
Can anyone enlighten me on the door panels? Were those standard GMC Custom panels? Never seen any like that.

Re: 1967 GMC Pickup - Museum Quality
Those were standard for that year and trim level. I’m not positive if that was true with 68 models also, or if it was true for 67 base trim level. But they are definitely standard for this GMC truck.

Re: 1967 GMC Pickup - Museum Quality
I can say for sure those door panels are part of the '67 GMC Custom package. They came in red, blue, green and fawn. Not sure if they carried over to '68, at least the arm rests didn't. Standard cabs used the same painted metal door panels the Chevy's used.

WOW.. Nice truck.. And kudos to the OP for keeping an almost 10 year thread going... Nice job. Safe to say, Everyone on this board would love to be in a situation like this. I mean you have the history from start to current. A real unmolested piece of history right there..
