Saw this great looking Ford today. What looks like a crease down the side, is just a reflection. Thing is straight.

Nice Old buick ,looks like it is sitting on a street in Portland Oregon somewhere ...when I see an old Buick like that I think that it was a Doctors car when new.. did you know that General Motors built the Buick first as their car in 1899 and Chevrolet was in 1911? I read this somewhere and guess it is correct .

Liking that 'Burb, the Buick looks like it would be owned by Don Vito Corleone back in the day.

Re: Vintage vehicles driving around. See one post it up.

Saw this old workhorse in Ouray, CO yesterday. Chains on the rear tires and plow ready to get it done again this winter.
Sorry for the poor pic, wife was driving and didn’t get my slow down request in time.

Re: Vintage vehicles driving around. See one post it up.

We recently got back from a 5200 mile road trip. I drove 90 percent of the time. Saw a fair amount of 67-72's out there and a lot of square body's. She wasn't interested in taking a picture of every cool vehicle I saw, and I was fine with that (sorta lol), so I think your wife took a great picture

Saw this rig in town this evening. It has a Power Tour sticker on the windshield so it must be a runner.

That F2 is still working hard after 75 or so years. It's a bit of a mishmash with the 48-50 grille and fenders and the 51-52 hood and cab. I'd love to take a closer look at it.

Re: Vintage vehicles driving around. See one post it up.

Went to a local in-town auction today. Seen these two and hastily snapped a couple pics with the cell phone. The pickup is a 1983 GMC 3/4 ton, 350 w/4 speed, floor shifted transfer lever, 4WD with auto hubs, pretty well loaded, A/C, P/S, P/B, am/fm, nice clean interior, tow hooks, bed liner, nearly new tires, original 4WD caps and 95,000 miles. Some very minor rust bubbles, no rust thru anywhere. Sold for $13,500 after starting the bid at $5,000.

The white '78 Pontiac Trans-am with 400 V8-4BBL, floor shift console 350Th, bucket seats, A/C, P/S, P/B, head liner needed replaced as it was hanging down. Buckets were tan vinyl with NO rips or tears. 45,000 miles, one owner. Some pretty steady bidding and final bid was $23,500.

Didn't get a lot of pics but both started right up and engines sounded good at idle, very smooth running.

Re: Vintage vehicles driving around. See one post it up.

Super nice LTD pulled up aside me at the gas station as I was readying to leave. Owner was elderly and may have been the original owner. I regret not chatting with him.
