John Brown Jubilee 5K
I ran a foot race on the Flint Hills Trail in Osawatomie Ks this morning.
I won overall. Evidently I set a course record. That must be for my age or for this year. I ran the same race last year and a 16 or 17 year old kid ran it way faster than my time today. My watch said I ran it in 22:43…. that’s in minutes not hours. I’ll find out the official time in a couple of days. A young gal who came in second ran me into the ground. She is definitely a better and faster runner than me.. I just got lucky today. Edit: Obviously the title should read “John Brown Jamboree”

Re: John Brown Jubilee 5K
The only way I can run that fast if someone was chasing me.

Re: John Brown Jubilee 5K
This is the young lady who came in second. She actually helped me run a decent race.
I’m thinking she had pity on an old man.

I think you would give the terminator a run for his money. Great job on continuing being incredibly fit, not just for an "old" dude, but all dudes =)
