I came across a place on 175 near Kuafman called Interstate Truck Parts. They have a couple of trucks in the 67-72 range. It is where I picked up a great deal on my cab. They have some older and some alot newer than this.

There are some on Elliot Reeder Road. It's hit and miss though on if they have what you need. They don't really specialize in old trucks but I've found a few back in the back.
Which reminds me that I need to strip down a few of those and sell the good parts on here or ebay Todd |

That is the place right next to Denton Raceway. Good luck getting anything off of that guy. The one and only time I went there, he would not even let me in the yard. He was afraid that I would steal something. That place is a gold mine though. He must have 1500-2000 pre-80's cars in there. They all look to be pretty much in tact too. Guess thats what happens when you don't let people in the yard |

I think TX FF probably has his own "private" yard!
I frequent the yards off Elliot Reeder (off 121 inside the loop). They have some stuff, but will never admit to it over the phone. I've always had better luck just "wandering" on my own and had pretty good luck.

I find all of the parts I could ever want locally. You just have to look way deeper than the rest of the folks.
There are yards out there with dozens and dozens of trucks lined up in a row. Be creative fellows. You're not going to find good rare parts in a yard in the middle of a city of a million residents. |

If you want to travel to East Texas, go to Red's Salvage Yard in Troup, TX. It is on highway 110 between Troup and Whitehouse. The guy there specializes in our trucks. He also has old Chevelles, Cameros and whatever else you can think of. Sorry, I don't have his phone number on me. I have not seen any vehicle in his place later than mid 70's.
