Cool! We converted from grass to a drought tolerant yard with underground watering. There are so many lizards around here that it is unbelievable. Must be a lot of bugs, but not the flying kind, glad to say.

Burning the midnight oil getting the trailer ready for Pismo/San Luis Obispo trip last week, went from triple digit temps to morning fog and wearing sweat shirts.

actually my wife took these (but i was with her).
tagged a bear with the wife's suv. going to look at a house near Barkerville, come around the corner and this guy was standing in the road. jammed the brakes and swerved into the other lane but still managed to give him a slight bump with the fender. didn't seem to faze him and caused no damage to wife's suv |

Went up to Lassen yesterday then the Subway lava tube. Very nice day. But what the Dixie fire did to Greenville and the woods up there was heartbreaking.
