Replacing Floor

I am replacing the floor in my 67. Three of the corners fit great, the bolt holes line nicely. But the passenger side B-pillar is way off, 3/4" gap. Hows a fella make up that gap, anyone had this problem and what was the fix?

Re: Replacing Floor

Before you removed the old floor, did you brace, including diagonal bracing, the cab including door openings??

Re: Replacing Floor

If you didn't brace, it leaves you in a similar situation to what I experienced. Wasn't replacing the floor, but my b pillars and cab corners were so rusted they were no longer connected to the floor. This allowed the upper part of the cab corners to flex out pretty far causing something similar. I had to pull the b pillars in on both sides and put the doors on to check fit. Took a while to get it back in shape.

Re: Replacing Floor

You will definitely want to dry-fit the doors in before you make anything permanent. Not the end of the world.

Edit: and you might find that the repop part just doesn't fit, and you will have to make it fit. Happened to me.
