66 c10 wiring question
Im redoing the wiring with an American Autowire kit and I was curious what the green wire in this tear down pic would have been meant for? There are 2 holes in my firewall where the tail light connector went out, but that green one below..what was that one for?

I believe it is for backup lights. (Optional on 65 but standard on 66)

Ah yes. I ran that light green to the back of my '61 in anticipation of adding backup lights. Which I haven't yet.

Thanks Nanook! I took that pic as I was tearing out the wiring as a reference and wondered if that green wire had gone through the firewall and connected to another harness, but I unfortunately didn't photo the other side of the firewall before I removed the wires.
