Fan shroud question
I just upgraded my 67 with a 4 core radiator. My small block shroud no longer fits. What shroud do I need? I have a small block in there on the small block mounts.

Something is wrong then. You have the short pump front setup don't you? The shroud should still be fine with the thicker radiator.

Yea, I have the short pump. I had to move the upper and lower brackets on the passenger side to the outer set of holes. Now my shroud wont fit due to the brackets being spaced farther apart and the shroud's not wide enough.

Get 2 more brackets and use them in the old holes-now shroud will bolt where it use to be.

How about the shroud for an A/C truck, isn't that a differefnt P/N from a non-A/C truck? And didn't A/C trucks automaticly get a 4 row rad?

I'm pretty sure you don't have a small block shroud then. Every small block shroud that I've ever had, mounted in the wider hole set. The narrow holes were for 6 cylinder radiators. All V8 radiators were wider, even the 2 and 3 core ones.

When I took the rad out of my truck the end cap fell off. It was cheaper to uprade to a 4 core than to fix old 3 row rad. Had to order larger brackets and my old shroud did not fit anymore. The top lip stuck out too far and the bottom cutout for the hose didn't fit. I am running without one with no problems. Org. 307 V8 3 core rad. LMC catalog list 4 different PN for shrouds but I am not sure which would work or what the differences are.

I solved that problem by switching to dual electric fans with shroud from Wes at classic heartbeat. Very easy install and really clean look.
