Re: 67 Camaro Build
The car looks awesome. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Re: 67 Camaro Build
Aftermarket push pins and original size holes don't play well together. I know you don't want to size those holes up for the pins, but I've found they hold much better than shaving all the ribs off from forcing them thru a hole being too small.

![]() Finishing up both sides. I decided the same style screw used to attach the weatherstrip channel would work better than push pins.

Re: 67 Camaro Build
Eyeballed the right quarter window, the final adjustment must wait till the door glass is present. I had just a heck of a time with the speedometer cable firewall grommet. Could not for the life of me get it to clip on correctly.

Re: 67 Camaro Build
Ditto with the left quarter window install (eyeballed). Next, I installed the new AAW bulkhead/dash harness and found the repro firewall has a larger opening than the original. I confirmed this by measuring the gasket impression on our original harness, surprise!

Re: 67 Camaro Build
Yep, daylight on both sides of the fuse box dagnabbit. We can’t have that, took a minute to decide just how I'm going to fix this. In the meantime, I popped the dash speakers back in along with the Y-duct and the firewall insulation, double checking everything. I’m still fitting the driver’s side firewall insulation for the final install. Last pic is strip caulk/dum dum on the backside of the speedo cable clips.
Believe me, I will seal up this firewall!!!!! ![]()
