Anyone have any info on GMC 6 cyl? What years produced? Are mounts the same up thru the 70's?
Any info appreciated. Lilredgmc |

Re: GMC 270 6 cylinder
Did some of my own digging, 1941-1963, superceded by the V-6. Didn't find motor mount location details...yet. Supposed to be rather torquey.. full in at 1600 rpm, not a high revving motor, what you would expect.

Re: GMC 270 6 cylinder
https://www.oldgmctrucks.com/index.html Is the only actual site I have found for early GMC info.
The 270 is allegedly easier to get parts for than the smaller engines.
