VIN help 1987 or 1988
A friend sent me some pics of a truck that’s got me confused. It’s a short bed square body with the 6.2 diesel and 4-speed auto option. Online sources I found said it could be an 88 model. I know the blazers and burbs stayed square after 87, but would a swb truck?

10th digit tells year. according to what you posted its 82.
