Anyone Near Reno, Big Favor To Ask

I live in Virginia & found a 1976 GMC 4x4 in Reno. It's Nice, rust free, some dents, etc. None of that's the real issue. The guy told me it already sold over the weekend but called me back tonight saying the woman buying it couldn't get the loan & blah, blah, blah.

He said he couldn't get back to me earlier because his mom had a stroke & work was busy. Then I noticed he has it listed on eBay also.

He's sent me pics of things I've ask for & VIN matches everything pictured. It just feels like one of those deals too good to be true, I send $, & then the bottom falls out.

Is anyone willing to go check this truck & seller out to make sure a deal is on the up & up for me. I would greatly appreciate it & shoot you some $ for your trouble. Just send me a text @240-695-7748 and I can give you the details,

Thats a Reunel rear bumper on that. They were expensive back then. 20K pull.

Well, I think all is going to be good! I talked to the seller & the truck is off of eBay & CL. Also got pics of the Title & everything seems to check out.

I hate having to be paranoid about people screwing me over, but it can be kinda common in today's world unfortunately.

Thanks for the info about the rear bumper, its going to coming off. It won't be pulling anything around after I get it.
