Any idea how lowered this is?
I just recently picked up a 79 suburban and I knew it was lowered but trying to figured out how much. Also to me it doesnt look like its drop spindles, I am confused because it rides really good for sitting so low.
Here are some pictures of the stance and spindles. Right now it has 245/45r20 tires on it (need to figure out offset and width so I can order a spare, any chance it would be labelled on the inside?) |

Re: Any idea how lowered this is?
Those look like drop spindles to me. The spindle would normally sit lower in the cast knuckle on a stock one. I am guessing a 3/5 drop overall.

3" front spindle drop is most likely for the Squarebody years or the 2.5" option.
