Blazer Value?
I came across an '85 K5 Blazer that has been in the same family since new. It's a Silverado and has a 6.2L diesel with a Banks turbo. It's all stock and hasn't really been altered at all. It's weathered some, but hasn't been abused by any means. I know it's tough to judge without a picture, but what are the rough values of something like this? Seems like I see them online going for between $10,000 and $30,000. This one is located in California.

I just noticed this post, there are sites that list values for vehicles and have a good description of what conditions are. I personally use Hagerty Valuation Tool as they have an excellent description of what the different conditions are and a value for each.

I bought my '86 for $2k, but that was maybe 6 years ago. All stock, 6.2 diesel, TH400, NP208. Had some rust in the floors but pretty straight otherwise.
I cut out and replaced the floors, installed a turbo off a 6.5, ARB lockers in both axles, ORD springs and fox shocks, and pretty much every other part in the ORD catalog (crossover steer, new steering box, motor mounts, crossmember, front/rear HD shackles and greasable bolts, FUSH, front spring hangers...). Also rebuilt and swapped in an SM465/205 and Advanced Adapters Ranger overdrive box, new driveshafts... Put in a new interior, Vintage Air A/C, bumpers, winch, spare tire swing out, ARB fridge and a custom stove on slide outs, solar panels, welder, on board air, etc etc... Easily 30k in parts and hundreds of hours of work. Maybe a thousand hours, IDK. If I were to go and sell it, I might get 15k... I wouldnt consider spending over 10k for a stock tired K5, unless it has an immaculate interior and paint and all the options. Think full restoration or been garage kept for 40 years, AC blows cold, power everything and all in working order. Clear coat and paint in good shape, interior in mint condition, etc. Then maybe 20-25k if everything is perfect
