Looking at the rules, there does not appear to be anything about advertising non-truck related items:

How about in the Gen Discussion? Or on a Camaro board? There is an idea. Or the new "island of misfit posts". This one fits that title.

What's the problem?? If you don't want to see it, you didn't have to open the thread. How about whoring up a thread like we are doing right now?

Unless the rules state otherwise, I don't see an issue with this thread. There are plenty of people on this board that would be interested in a car like that IMO
