Some work iv'e done to the 68 PATINA truck ,,

I did new inner and outter door bottoms last year , I have found a good straight original paint passenger fender hope to have it this week , just trying to beat the rust off , found a nice clean rust free grille for it , last week I got a ccustom horn button , and a new rear bumper , a piece at a time 😁

I am trying to do as much as I can to the truck while I am interested in it , this one always gets pushed to the back of the line and it ends up just sitting out here ,

Great work! Good doors are getting to be difficult to find.

She will look nice with that Whiteface Grille. That's a '68-only look.
1968 Was Chevrolet's 50th anniversary. A lot of Gold/White trucks were made as Anniversary Editions.

I loved mine & would still be driving it if I could have.....

Still have the 68 caps & had the original wheels until a few years ago until I donated them to a young man building a '69 C10 that needed some 6-lug wheels.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

yeah the grille is an original paint 1968 grille the guy I got it from said his dad took it off a truck in the 70s , yep 68 was the year of the golden anniversary trucks but this one is actually code 525 saddle tan but faded it looks gold , its always needed a straight passenger side front fender I located an original paint one for it will have it soon
