inner roof a pillar pictures, Please
Evening
apologize for long post been awhile since ive been able to work on my 66 C10 (Wife had to have major surgery, she's doing great) i had replaced the inner roof and originally to get almost no gap at the a pillar, i would have about a 1/4 inch of metal below the windshield pinch weld on the drivers side so i recut the welds and made it as close to even on the windshield pinch seam what this caused is the gap at the a pillar on the drivers side is about 1/4 inch and the passenger side is not quite 1/8, for the most part the passenger side has never changed it does slide into the slot on both sides, obviously not as much on the drivers side i did take a windshield that had a crack in it and a new gasket and it seals up the same all around, im afraid if i dropped it on the drivers side the gasket and windshield might not fit as well im guessing since this is the inner roof, it probably wont make much difference does anyone have pictures of the gaps driver and passenger inside a pillar would be very much appreciated Thank You
