Finally able to tow

After 10 years, I finally found an insurance company here in Canada that allows me to tow with my Blazer. I had Hagerty, but the underwriter is different here and prevents us from towing. Just rolled 30000 miles since the restoration with zero issues. Planning on going to the Syracuse nationals next week which is about a 4 hour drive.

Re: Finally able to tow

So what was the big deal with that? I used to tow with my K5 quite often (when I had one)

If you read my post, I mentioned that it's near impossible to get insurance up here to tow anything with an older restored vehicle especially if they are modified.

Exclamation Re: Finally able to tow

Due to the short 104" WB, Blazers do not make great tow vehicles other than for a pop-up camper.

You're correct! This camper is only 3000lbs and that's about max. It tows fairly good but you're driving it. I wouldn't go cross country with it.
