Re: Part Wanted
Try Southwest Classics in Arlington TX (682) 323-4812
They show a year break for early & late 55's but I would start there. Another place I've had good luck with is All American Classics in Vancouver WA (360) 254-8850 good luck.

Re: Part Wanted
That is at the top of the list of rare and hard to find parts for AD trucks. I don't think they were offered in 52/53 and maybe came with the "Deluxe cab" package on 54.
I think I have the market corners on mild steel painted moldings for vent wing doors. I bought a batch of parts at a swap meet and got several sets in it.

Re: Part Wanted
Mr 48: I think he's looking for the molding for a 55 GMC. He doesnt specify if it's a Chevy or GMC or what year so I went with what vehicles he had listed. Are Chevy & GMC the same part? If it's a GMC, good luck.

I had the pleasure of living in Lubbock, Texas for 7 yrs. before moving to Dallas. Some may not see it as a pleasure but for looking for any kind of automotive parts / motorcycles parts, or just parts in general it was an arid gold mind!!! I had traded/scored/sold, and bartered many many parts. Which is how I ended up with just a lone drivers side stainless steel inside vent window trim piece! I scored my 55.1 GMC for $600.00 and that was with a rebuilt 270 motor/clean title! Actually drove it for 3 years before stripping it down to the frame! I will check out the Arlington, TX swap meet!
