Panel said pockets

The side pockets on both sides in middle and rear of Panel truck.Zero access and only air flow is two little slots. Thinking some aior flow would help keep rust issue away.

Thinking maybe small vents with coneection tube above wheel well inside and vaccum vent in rear that opens under vaccum like 140 mph going dow highway(joking, kind of). Pulling iar out of cab.Maybe 2" vents.

Ever seen anything done to provide air to cicrculate and keep mpoisture out?

Never saw any air vents. The existing slots are for draining any water out that gets into the quarter panels. I would think any air intake vents in those areas would also let splashing water get into the area and make it rust more.

Never really thought about it.....

Re: Panel said pockets

more thinking online of vent from cab down ward with rear mounted spring loaded damper that only opens under vacuum for truck rolling down road and air moving around it. Sort of like NASA duct with damper seal.

Just thinking out loud. ,most of time talk myself out of it. Habbit of looking at what happened why and how to improve it. Good koir bad its just how my warped mind works.
