Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!

That trailer sold the next day after he listed it.
I've been watching for it in car show coverage and Bonneville photo coverage.

If you are in the PNW and looking for a 54 for a project this might be an interesting one. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...70205790%22%7D

They said it has a title and it is a 3000 series but the firewall is cut out for their swap they had planned. That and the dash modified for a different radio will be serious bargining points in my book but there are a lot of nice pieces there even though the price is on the high side.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!

Both those look like OK deals from Canadian perspective, except for distance.

The red project looks like it failed on the 'small cab big frame' conundrum, But some sheetmetal an S10 and plenty of elbow grease will get that one going again

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!

That one in post 1380 sold this afternoon not long after I posted the link. It was 600 rather than 8 though. The red 54 would be good for someone who had a ragged out 54 with a good chassis. One would have to actually see and tally up the value of the parts there to make it viable though.

55 short box Big window with a 235 in Kent Wa. The 16 K is well over the price of rigs I usually post but from the looks of things this truck may not need all the rust repair that a lot of TF trucks need. It is presentable ehough that you could play patina truck at the local events as is .

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!

A local to me and Nvrdone truck that I have seen a number of times over the years and that I think has changed hands a couple of times. The price is a bit higher than I usually post but for someone looking for a pretty well original truck. Not fancy but it has been at local shows on occasion. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...type=top_picks

This one is in Centralia Wa on I 5 south of Seattle/Tacoma https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...81803036%22%7D

Camaro rear axle, at least that is what I read, 350 Goodwrench motor and T 5. That may be the deal of the day for someone wanting and AD that already has a lot done to it.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!

Truck in a box a whole lot of assembly required. https://www.facebook.com/commerce/li...are_attachment

I don't usually post trucks in a basket when they get up in this price range but the list of parts he has with it total up pretty close to the asking price including a Fatman MII front end assembly. What I can see of the original pieces looks pretty decent and the older blue paint isn't going to hid much but actually looks presentable if a guy just put it back together and buffed it out.

Port Angeles Wa area = Free what looks to be a 250 with aluminum valve and side covers that would make it worth going after if you were close enough.

Way too far away from me for me to go after it.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!

Here is a 1950 stalled project on Vancouver island. At $4500 Can or offers this does not look like a bad deal. All the rust repair on cab is done, but has been allowed to surface rust. mustang II installed and 10 bolt. Fenders and box look solid and some nice chrome to boot. Pretty sure you could not build this for any less.
No mention of title.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!

That's 3 213.80 in US dollars today, that might not be a bad deal if it has a clear title in the sellers name. Those front fenders and trim would bring some serous coin from the lowrider brigade if the buyer didn't want to run them. Maybe sold on Exchange for equal quality plain fenders.

To me the parts with it including grill and bumper make that price a lot more friendly.

I haven't seen a new build with an old original MII crossmember in a while but there are several trucks and rods in this area that a friend of mine installed them on 30 years ago that have tens of thousands of miles on them without a problem.

50 GMC BIG truck cab and nose and not much else but oh so cool. This is someting thatI always wanted to build but I just don't have that many builds left in me and don't have the coin to pay a friend of mine who has a hot rod shop to do it. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...41747622603312

Obviously a frame swap candidate That makes me think that it also needs a 12 Valve cummins if you don't find a duramax dualie .

If you are within driving distance of Harah Wa this gantry wih chain hoist is a beast that will lift anything you might reasonably want to lift. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...type=top_picks

This gantry sold the first or second day it was listed.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!

Truck in a basket but a lot of nice parts. I'm not inclined to post trucks that don't seem to have titles but this one has a Fatman crossmember already welded on and what I can see of the cab and body parts looks good and I'd think a trailer parked out front and cash greenies in the hand would talk pretty loud. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...type=top_picks

A lesson in sad photos of something you want to sell though.

Grand kid's ball team parade hauler here. 54 Former fire truck on Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands of Washington.

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...Anull%7D%22%7D

Very honestly a person would have to go over on the ferry figuring to get it running and deal with the brakes and drive it on the ferry and off the island but it has a lot of posibilities.
