Front sway bar?
Ok I have accumulated most of my front suspension parts. Working on shocks and getting sway bar as last piece before tearing apart.
I have new bushing, ball joints with tall uppers, tie rod ends, cutting springs once out, new shock mounts , used lower a-arms machined for caster mod and just need shock and sway bar. Question is how big sway bar and whos? I figure good quality 1.250 will work. Not sure if design differences and if so what. Solid lik or bushing style. Solid should work but not sure how effect ride. Again funny cars and dragster do not have sway bars so out of my field. Sway bar suggestions? Shock suggestions before pull trigger. Oh yea going on 1969 panel with 4: front and rear drops.

Re: Front sway bar?
On my '65 I went with a stock one off of a 3/4 ton Chevy early square body. Grab the frame mounts, a-arm mounts, and the bar. I then bought new bushings in poly for the bar and painted it red to contrast the black of nearly everything else on my truck.

Re: Front sway bar?
Funny would have complete late model suspension to steal from if not for nosy ass neighbor whining about my mine scrap yard. Ended up scrapping some stuff and scrapping rest of it. So have sway bar off 3/4 Its big but has big hump on sides and IMO would look like crapola under this truck.

Re: Front sway bar?
looking at this 2500 sway bar it looks exactly sameas QA1 I found for 69 c10. Can not see at right angle to compare the hunp which I figure is to clear the steering.
Looks like should work fine. Like some said on cutting springs thread cost almost nothing to try, even if not optimal it is free and allows that monmey to go to other parts until.

Re: Front sway bar?
The GM HD front sway bars on the 3/4 & 1-ton trucks + Subrubans are the 'go to' for the budget approach.
