The Curtis speed wheels are sweet! What size tires are you running on those.

Re: “Castro” my new 72 build

And what backspace did you get with the Curtis speed wheels? Do you have the stock front track width or are the spindles like the cpp modular spindles.
Sorry for all the questions 😃

No worries dude. Tires are 245-40R20 and 295-40R20, wheels 20 x8 1/2", 5.5" back space, rear is 20 x 10, 5.5" backspace. I have the QA-1 system under it with McGaughys 2" drop spindles for a square body. Stock width. That 5.5 BS on the front tucks the tires in nicer than other wheels I've had with 5 -1/4" bs.

Re: “Castro” my new 72 build

Do you have the stock width 1972 rear end and have you modified the wheel tubs? How much drop do you have on the rear? and what brand tires did you go with. Again sorry for all the questions.

Re: “Castro” my new 72 build

Sorry I missed this. I have Nitto tires and about 8 inches on the drop. Stock tubs and yes stock 72 rear end.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
