C20 Wheel opinion

I know it is dangerous to start an opinion thread, but.... what do you think about these wagon wheels with the center cap? I always lean towards the vintage look on my trucks, but I also like to make them a little different and also appear factory to the casual observer. I need to keep the tires E rated for hauling so I came up with this set up.

Let me know what you think!

Re: C20 Wheel opinion

It looks good either way, but if it were mine I’d run the dog dishes or try to find some old Jackman white spokes. Nice C20.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: C20 Wheel opinion

Thanks all! Appreciate it. Now I have confidence to buy the other 3, haha.

I know it's not trendy bling of today, but since this truck is a base model, I kind of want to keep that theme going...otherwise its a slippery slope: wheel well trim, side trim, carpet, cloth seat, ughhhh, haha.

Looks great! I'm a fan of the white bumper and wheels though. What paint did you use for bumper and wheels?

Thank you! It’s the factory white paint on the bumper, can’t remember the color code. The wheels are made by Allied and came painted as a pretty close match!

What size are these? 16"x7"? Where'd you get them?

These are 16x8 Allied wheels. I got them from Summit pretty cheap. The tires are 265/75/16. Tires are Firestone a/t E rating from Amazon.

Re: C20 Wheel opinion

Got the rest mounted up! Pretty happy with this set up, continuing the base model theme. But also kind of mimics the factory sport wheel option on the 1/2 tons.

The truck looks great! Are these the wheels you got? Did you paint them white or powdercoat? Also what caps did you use? GMT400? Its a great combo and you hit the nail on the head with the base model 1/2 ton but bigger styling
