1986 c2500 4wd conversion

i might be able to pick up a c2500 for fairly cheap as a roller, i happen to have a 383/th350/np205 and a 3/4 ton front axle at my house. whats all involved in 4wd conversion? springs, hangers, driveshaft?

Re: 1986 c2500 4wd conversion

Yep that covers the big part of it. I got all the hangers and such for my 84 C20 work in progress from a wrecked K5. I just cut the whole front frame rails off behind the front body mount. The 2wd rear spring hangers are different than the 4x4 rears too so you’ll need either a lift block/spring for the rear or 4x4 rear hangers to get the stance like right.
