flip cab
Evening
need to flip cab to dress welds on bottom before undercoating is it best to flip on the back or firewall side i can build a lower dolly to clear garage door, all glass is out Thanks for any Help

I would say that is your choice.
My choice would be to lay it on it back because it would be a flat surface and more stable. The front can be a choice also with the correct brace and platform built. Paint effect in picture below. You could build something from metal or wood.

I just had mine blasted and on its back for epoxy painting. Seem to go fine. When it was on its back, the top half of the cab didn't sit on the bench I had made. So it was a little wobbly, but I am sure I could have braced it or padded the bench to make it sit better. I will have it on its back when I do some more repair and under coat the bottom.

Back when I did mine, I laid it on its back on a padded pallet. Worked out well. Knocked out the interior roof as well while it was on its back.

Thanks for all the Ideas,
Think im going with The Pallet , ill put wheels on it so i can move it easier Also changed the inner roof and last month ,panel bonded the outer roof on, worked out great almost done with all the floor patches Have a drivers door that i had reskinned, its off by alot on the bottom, so im going to have to tear it apart and redo it or use my original door and inner and outer patch it plus the crease you get when the door swings to far out got to set the door to get the rocker aligned Thanks again, i was worried about setting the cab on its back or firewall , but i see its been done,lol
