Fuel tank selection valve
Holy smokes, I posted on here last week asking about my fuel tank selection valve, that it was drawing on both tanks same time. Well I filled up the other tank and left the one low, for a test. The low tank ran out, was still just above E. tanks would not switch. Dead on the road. Lovely wife came to rescue me, but not before pictures. Either way. I have a 6 line valve with a single wire. I can find a cheap one all over but looks to have four (4) wires with a plug. The single wire for mine is $375.00. I found a three (3) hose valve for like $50. What are my options?

I would first verify that the switch is getting power to the valve. Mice love to chew things. Sounds like what you have is the unobtainium solenoid 6 port valve.
Several threads on here about swapping to the newer motorized 6 port valve. Not the easiest job but it would mean that if the valve failed sometime later, the replace cost is $100 not $400+(unobtainium things rarely get cheaper). Short term fix is bypass the valve and run one tank. |

What about running the 2 lines in 1 line out valve. Why do i need all those lines coming in? Not like i have the charcoal canister up front.

Yours has return lines from the fuel pump. Can't just leave them hanging. You might be able to replace that fuel pump with one for an earlier motor that didn't come with the return lines, then use the simpler, lower cost 2in, 1 out solenoid valve.
Any lines from a charcoal canister would go directly to the vent pipe on the fuel tank(s), bypassing any valves. I think the return lines were an attempt to limit vapor lock but my 75 doesn't have the returns and I have never had any vapor lock issues. And mine uses that 2 in 1 out valve. |

Fixed it, I had an electrical issue a month ago and unplugged the power feed from the fuse block, all better now
