Re: 1964 C10 fleet side swb
Freshened up the bed, it the wheel wells and back board were still in the primer coating from mfg and had begun to turn chalky.
Freshened up the stain with a few more coats and painted the inside of the bed i gloss black. I need to sand down the inner bedsides to get a better look without the flaking look but its better than it was. I am really wanting a snowden seat, trying to hold off until I can sit in a truck with one to see if it will actually lower my seating position. I found a measurement at once time online from floor to seat bottom bit cant find it now that I am really debating spending the $2200 on a seat.

Re: 1964 C10 fleet side swb
Almost 5k miles since the top end work I did earlier this year. Still haven't gotten an apt to do the dyno tune so I am going to do some drives while collecting data on my hp tuner/laptop and dial in the fuel myself at low/mid throttle.
I lowered my idle rpm for in gear and p/n back to 750. Since I fixedthe A/C idle fixed awhile back I still hadnt lowered it from 800rpm. Will do some data logging, which may come up needing no adjustments at all since I havent really ever looked at it. I woud like to see my stft/ltft around 0 and -5%. I pulled up the data while idling in my driveway and while it probably wasnt completely at temp I was seeing around -12 to -15% stft. Which is a little rich and probably why I have a fuel smell when I start the truck in my garage. Maybe next week I can do some driving around and get some good data to make a change. Will most likely be doing these change in 2% increments until I am at the -5% I would like to see. The ecm should be correcting this extra fuel but I would prefer it to be closer than it showed. Hell It mgiht be spot on after driving it around and populating a graph, other than a little gasoline smell it runs excellent.

Re: 1964 C10 fleet side swb
After a year or more of procrastinating I finally wired up the cruise control and got it working.
If running gen 3 PCM and on VCM scanner everything is working but the cruise lockout won't turn off and cruise active still shows "no". On HP Tuners Check-> system -> system options and make sure cruise status is set as a 1. If not change it save tune, load to PCM and make sure to power off key for 30 seconds after. Mine wasn't working even after changing this bit, powered off a minute or two and back on and cruise working. Even with LED tail lights which sounds like it's a problem for some people I am having no issues. I am running relays with ground wires for brake/hazards that are sold for led tail lights.
