Floor pans and rockers

This has probably been asked before but my search didn't turn up anything.
What I'm looking for is 72 blazer replacement sheet metal. Who sells the heaviest gauge metal and best fitment. I've looked on line and emailed a few companies but no answers yet. Only a few list the gauge thickness. I don't want 20-22 gauge. Anyone have any experience? Thanks

Re: Floor pans and rockers

In terms of aftermarket panels, I've been happy with Key Parts.

Re: Floor pans and rockers

Agree on Key Parts having decent stuff - couldn't tell you the metal thickness offhand, but the parts I used were close enough to OEM to not have concerns using it.

Key Parts is pretty close on fit - still will have some work to do on nearly every panel depending on what type of fit & finish you are going for. These trucks from the factory didn't have the same tolerances as vehicles do today. Expect some work on each panel you get though - nothing just lays in without modification.

Depending on how many patch panels you need - I've used Jegs to find all the panels I need from Key Parts and then did bundle orders to save on shipping. Jegs has 'spend $x - get free shipping' deals on a frequent basis.

Go to the Key Parts site where they list all of their products with part numbers (usually 0849-xxxx) and start a list of what you need. If you post up some pix of your truck - we can provide some guidance on what you are getting into.

More and more patch panels and parts are now available for these trucks - so you have access to many more options now than even a few years ago.

Edit to add:
- direct link to 69-72 Blazer section of the Key Parts catalog - https://keypartsonline.com/1969-1972-1/
- direct link to 67-72 C10 section of the Key Parts catalog (as some parts overlap between C10 and Blazers - https://keypartsonline.com/1967-1972-3/

Re: Floor pans and rockers

Ok guys thanks I ordered key parts from JEGS my new floor pan who'll be here Monday. I'll start posting as I go. I bought this Blazer 27 years ago wow didn't think it was that long ago. I had it in the back of my dad's shop until they moved a few years ago so now that I retired I have time to work on it. Body is off and stripped.
