Another seatbelt post,

Hello all,

I have been messing with the belts in my 89 v2500 burb. I understand the mechanics, cleaned and I have a Consew 206 machine. That said, they are simply a bad design with the path the webbing takes back into the retractor is not true and there is always drag.

I would like to swap in a single retractor 3 point. All aftermarket stuff looks well, aftermarket and universal. Anyone have real installs? Most have a bolt hole horizontal, did you use a 90 degree bracket? did it fit in the space? does it work as planned.

I orders a set from summit last year and sent it back, everything felt cheap. Even the plastic sleeve was close but sucked. would not stay in place and the opening not shaped right. Any pictures of what works?
