6.2 diesel upgrade package??

I bought this truck over the weekend. It has a 6.2L with a 700R4. After we had it loaded up I noticed this badge on the tailgate. Other than a set of headers and dual exhaust I don't see anything different from my 82 3500. I was told that it was running when it was parked. Has anyone seen or heard of this company or the possible upgrades done? I'm thinking the 500 on the badge denotes a certain upgrade package and not a HP or torque rating. Sorry I just realized that I can't/couldn't post a pic due to no security token. The badge on the tailgate reads DIESEL PERFORMANCE PACKAGE. 500. BRIAN'S AUTO, RV & DIESEL. TACOMA WA. The associated phone number is way out dates as the area code (206) doesn't cover Tacoma.

Re: 6.2 diesel upgrade package??

Ancient post but no one has replied so... I just searched for "Brian's..." as I watched a FB post from camano_customs that shows a truck with this badge. Will continue to Google.

Re: 6.2 diesel upgrade package??

I've worked on a lot of 6.2 and 6.5 diesels and the only 'performance' thing you can do is to remove the EGR intake and replace with a heavy duty factory one that doesn't have the ports and put a turbo on it and open the exhaust up to at least a 3'' pipe.
