Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

That little detail took hours to make it turn out right. I do think it was worth it in the end.

Re: Looking for build name?

I have a 30 second long video showing the progress of my Blazer. It is in an MOV format and I do not know how to post that I could email it to someone if that would help?

Thanks

Re: Looking for build name?

I live in Florida now and my Blazer is still at my body guy in Gloucester, Massachusetts. I had to go back to Massachusetts and decided to visit the body guy in my Blazer while I was there. Here are a few pictures of some progress.

My painter actually had to machine a different angle on a 1970 Chevelle SS emblem to make it fit for the 68 grill. I think it kind of fits the build.

We’re down to probably a dozen or so things and most of them aren’t that complicated. A few of them are making custom mount end or pieces.

Also trying to have him re-gear the rear end from the 308 it is to most likely 373

And there’s still plenty of snow on the ground up there, but he’s going to have my front end. Alignment done locally also.

I’m hoping sometime this summer I will be going up to pick it up. He’s been very fair with me on pricing and even said he will never do another project like this as he can’t Bill for all the hours he works on them. I feel bad but I’m glad he’s been as good as he’s been.
