A while back, I was in a hotel lobby, and I spotted a couple of chess enthusiasts bragging about past wins.
They were chess nuts boasting in an open foyer. - I got my wife a refrigerator for Christmas. I cant wait to see her face light up when she opens it. - How does Good King Wenceslas like his pizza? Deep pan, crisp and even. - What kind of music do elves listen to? Wrap. - What do you call an elf wearing ear muffs? Anything you want, he wont be able to hear you. - How long should a reindeers legs be? Long enough to reach the ground. - How is Christmas like a day at the office? No, no said the man. I just need to know how he got in the house without my wife hearing him....I've been trying for 30 years! Yesterday I went to a Christmas party. I had a few drinks, but later in the evening realized I was over my limit, so I took a cab home. Sure, enough there was a sobriety check point on the way home, they waved the cab right on through. I arrived home safely without incident. I had never driven a cab before, have no idea where I got it. It's sitting in my garage now so I suppose I should call and return it now that I'm done with it. |
