Wiper motor is weak.
89K5 Multi speed motor is slow on start up and has difficulty moving even light snow. It works OK on constant speed low but highest speed is not much faster. Are they serviceable?
Thanks.

Re: Wiper motor is weak.
The motor on my 84 Sierra is the same. I asked on the gmsquarebody forum if I could take it apart and clean out the original grease as I think that's the problem. Both speeds on mine are the same:Slow! It was recommended to lube to linkage as well

I did not mess with relays/wire or dig into the cowl for lubricating the linkage. |

Re: Wiper motor is weak.
IF you pull apart and regrease, be sure to look into low temp grease
