I have a 73 or later steering wheel - will a 72 fit?

Here is my steering wheel. Someone before me put in a tilt column and wheel from 73>. Will a 72 wheel fit or will I have issues with spline and horn contact.

Freedom isn't safe, it requires you to take responsibility for your own life, your own safety, and your own success. It carries with it the possibility of failure and the understanding that you're working without out a safety net. If you give the state the responsibility for any of these you also give up the freedom that accompanies the responsibility.

There is an ignition switch on the column you do not use? If not column is pre 73.
Edit-regardless I had a 1994 wheel on my truck for years on a stock column. As said, the wheel will fit either column.
