New to me D860

Just picked up a 1959 D860. It has the 6-71 Detroit. It is rough but all there. Anyone know where there are any of these for parts? Need some doors or maybe a cab and doors. from what I understand any GMC fat cab 1954-1961 will be the same or close enough cab.

Here’s one kinda cool being a 5 window cab. Pretty far from you but maybe worth it, the doors look pretty good
**Edit: Hmm, looking more closely this cab is way different than yours, it has a curved windshield and door contours look way different. Front hood also way different. It’s a 1955 supposedly 450

Re: New to me D860

The 'fat cabs' are all more-or-less the same, floors, doors, and firewall differ from conventional, short conventional (your D860), and cabover. Neat truck, those were built until 1962 because they still came with the 6-71 Detroit which some fleets preferred. The DB7000 used the 6V-71. In 63 GMC dropped the D860 and made the 6-71 optional in the DB7000.
