Thank you very much Russell Ashley! I've had some time in the garage now and have been trying to build a bigger exhaust system for this car. I'm so slow at doing something like that because I've never done a whole exhaust system myself before.

A few pictures of the rear muffler build. This is not finished yet. All the material is stainless steel which I plan to polish.

Here are more pictures of the exhaust system being built. I don't want any extra welds on the exhaust system and I want the end result to look like it was bought new and not made by myself. Let's see how it goes since I've never built an exhaust system myself before.

Re: BMW 325i 1989 restoration

The exhaust system is now almost complete, only the exhaust outlet ends still need to be polished and installed.

I had a professional do the final welding because I don't have a TIG welding machine.

Grinding and polishing the pipes was really hard because the surface of the pipe was quite uneven. It took a long time to do this, but I'm happy with the end result.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Sometimes I have to look under the car and remember how much time it took to make the exhaust system...

I had one new. I believe it was $11,500. $250 extra for the sunroof and another @250 for the wheels.
