Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!

The car hauler / motorhome project I dream about and it looks solid and reasonably priced.
But that is a 8 hour drive north of Vancouver BC and it won't come home on a u-haul trailer

5110.70 US seems to be in the ball park especially when you should be able to sell the flatbed for a decent price or it sure would be the start of a nice flatbed trailer that you had proof of where that part came from when you go to register it.

As far as getting it back to Surrey I wonder if a person could find someone with a lowboy trailer who had hauled a piece of equipment north and was returning empty. That still wouldn't be inexpensive but would be less than having a truck go up empty to pick it up and haul it back.

It's been on Marketplace for 19 weeks so you have to wonder if it is still available for sale or maybe people are waiting the weather out.

The white truck is one I saw at the American Historical truck society event at the Yakima fairgrounds a few years ago.

I've always liked the Idea of a chassis mount camper on an older truck chassis (not open to the cab) Like the one on this semi that was at the same event. A local shop used to build one for your chassis or build you a camper for your pickup but I don't know if they do that work anymore and just do repair work.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

59 Chevy Big window short box that is subframed and hasa454 and turbo 400. In Otis Orchards Wa on the East side of Spokane. Next to the Idaho border and on I 90.

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...Anull%7D%22%7D

Pretty interesting truck for 6500 with a nice big window cab and a chassis tha should be good for serious freeway driving. Even if you wanted to sell the 454 and go LS it should be a good deal.

Plus there is a big Cabellas right across the border and Coeur d'Alene isn't far away if one wants to make a road trip weekend out of it.

You might be hard pressed to match it by buying a real solid truck and doing your own work.

Not cheap but dang, they will let you park up front at the Saturday Rod trot or at Cars and Coffee with it and all you should have to do is put gas in it and drive it. One could work a fly in and drive home thing without a lot of hassles too. Especially if you were able to fly into Everett rather than Seattle. Catch a taxi to the Mukilteo ferry terminal Ride across to Clinton and have the seller pick you up at Clinton or get and Uber to where they are. Then either take the ferry back or go up the island and across the Deception pass Bridge to Anacortes and beyond.
Pretty good price, and seems to be in good condition. I like it! A friend and I looked at a '69 SWB step side that looked like Swiss cheese, and the guy was asking $12.5k.

It's a real good price for a real nice truck. I was only laughing at the "rare" part. A bit of creative writing. 6 cylinder, 4 speed and long bed mean it needs that guy who just doesn't care and just loves the truck because it is nice. It doesn't take long to rack up 15K in one today. I just spent 439 + Tax for a grill for my 48 today and still have to save up to have the bumpers redone (not Chevy bumpers but not silly) .

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!

A lot of guys seem to like the service truck look these days and here is a bed in Rochester Wa that was on a 60/66 3/4 ton but would look decent on a 55/59 long bed truck The bed it self might well be worth the 300. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...Anull%7D%22%7D

That is one straight long stepside bed.

Good looking truck if you are looking for a big truck. It's in Dahlonega, Ga. which was the home of the second large gold rush in the USA in the early 1800's. It's in north Georgia and is a nice area to visit with good restaurants, mountain drives, and wineries. It's a college town and regarded as one of the best places to retire to, although they try to keep that part quiet. As for the truck, it would be a shame to cut it up, but that's what I would want to do if it were mine. I would want to make a pickup like some I've seen using a long dually bed and fenders.

That's one a guy buys to haul his antique tractor to antique farm equipment shows Then put the truck on display too.
