are OER door shells decent, close ok, made to fit well easy??? My doors are rotted out the inner and outer structures, maybe I do not have the confidence to repair them and the time. I appreciate any feedback. Are rust free used doors like finding a unicorn?

Re: OER doors
Geeze at least give it a few days. Its not like every member checks the forum on a daily basis.
if you are referring to your original pieces as "rusted crud" the OER doors are probably the way to go. Every body panel you purchase is going to need some amount of adjustment. Even if you purchased NOS doors you would have to make adjustments. |

Re: OER doors
I bought doors from Summit Racing, I believe they are AMD brand.
I had to cut the top edges of both doors, added material to one and removed some from the other. I'm not building a show truck, so I'm happy with the fit.

Re: OER doors
I had outer Skins and inner bottoms done to mine from a friend, he did not have the truck at his house, he did make templates
When i started fitting them, i had to cut the drivers door on the bottom to bring it in quite a bit, welded up and cannot hardly tell passenger door fit better, still had to work the hinges also the rockers that you buy unless OEM are not straight, they bow, so i had to split both sides and adjust them aftermarket metal almost always needs some massaging Good Luck on your build
