What is the easiest way to remove an auto shift lever? I have to replace the turn signal switch in the Blazer and that little pressed in pin is being stubborn. Or is there a way to replace the switch and associated wiring without removing the shift collar?

shouldn't need to remove that. Just fish the harness through the shifter ring and down to the bottom.
