72 chevy 4x4 blazer - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I thought I would try here before ebay. I have a 72 chevy 4x4 blazer. It is in really good shape. It will need some minor rust repair that I have started to do on the drivers side. It will need a new inner rocker on drivers side. I have a new outer rocker. There is rust holes right behind on body next to door. It could eisaly be fixed. Rocker boxes and everything underneath just has surface rust. It has a 350 and t350. The transfer case is a 205. It will need a new seal inbetween the tranny and tcase. I put a new exhaust on it. And a hei dist. and new wires. I just never tuned it in right. Motor has roughly 30,000 miles on it. It sat for two years before I got it. The hinges for the topper need some work. Any questions please ask.All the a/c parts are there and just need new seals. I am asking$3,000 obo. I will attatch some pics. Thanks jim

I havent got ahold of my friend, but give me a day or 2. He works really long hours, so it might be this weekend! But im pretty sure he will want it. I emailed him pics, and from his description of what he wants, i think he will probably take it!

It seems to run good. But I have only taken it around the block. It has sat for two years and could probably use a carb rebuild. Not too mutch work left to get it road worthy.

I dont know how patient you are, but i am pretty sure my frined will take the blazer off you're hands.. Kind of like a deal where i want him to have one more then he realizes he does

Just would be cool to have a buddy with a blazer as well... Hopefully he will get back to me, and we can arrange something... I might even do a resto for him, which i am really excited about!

Jim, Thanks for the great deal on the Blazer...I stopped by Summit after we left your place and picked up a new carb and intake manifold. We also looked at the 55 Belaire and bought it. It was nicer than expected. If the rain stops, maybe I'll bolt the new parts on today. Stop by if your in Carson and check out the progress.
