clutch disc/305V6

i can't find a new clutch disc for my 68 305 v6 4 speed. none of the parts stores or clutch sites list a 305 v6 engine. does anyone have a cross reference no?

You might check Kantor. I know that they have a engine rebuild kit, but I don't know for sure if they have clutches. I believe its board member erl thats really into the 305 V6's, so you might check with him.

You should go to that site and ask around, they're big V6 guys. Best of luck.

I'd suggest you goto a real clutch shop. I took a local place my flywheel, my friction plate, my pressure plate & my throwout bearing. they guy looked at it & knew what was needed. The guy ground my flywheel to give it a fresh place for the new disc to break-in on. they upgraded me to a 12" disc for an aditional 15 bucks for a total of 175CDN. Just my opinion but a place that only did clutches knew their chit really well.

I found a disc on AutoZone's website. I had to say you had a 3/4 ton 68 to get the 305V6 engine option to show up. The disc is made by Value Craft (#CP34) and runs $50.99. It is a special order item. I tried Advance and NAPA but the partsamerica website must be down right now. I also found this link to complete clutch kits for the 305V6 http://www.clutchplace.com/Store/pro...edAutoID=19681 I looked on Hollander and it shows that a 10 1/2" and 11" clutch were available so you may want to verify the size you have before ordering.
