Adapter Plates!

They have an adapter plate to run Caddy, Olds, Pont, and Buick motors hooked up to a Chevy 4x4 trans.

The problem with that is there really isn't much room for that. The caddy motor in my longhorn has the fan placed about an inch from the rad...and I still had to hammer the fire wall a tad. There was about 1/2 an inch room, but that isn't enough room IMO. I have mine bolted to a BOP tranny, if there had been an adapter, then there woulda been some real space issues.

Mine's gettin a 3 cyl Detroit Deisel. Hehe. Not the best power/weight ratio but im gonna get awesome gas mileage.

Caddy power.

The only prob. I had was to trim rad. shroud and I also deleted the fan spacer. What I know is mine is running fine and it did not cost a lot of funds.
Gm put their best truck motors in cars! Where there is a will there is a way.
