Attn Longhornmail

I noticed that you have indicated on another thread that the TH350 modulator is adjustable. Can you tell me where it is located on the tranny , and is it just a slotted screw that I would turn to the right to shift at a higher rpm. I feel that mine shifts too quickly into 2nd and into third especially.

Thanks in advance.

Kinda sounds like the kick down cable is not hooked up to me. Many are left like this after an intake or carb swap, and it goes for so long that it is forgotten.
However, there is a chance I am way out of line on that. Here is a pic of the mod...it is on the passenger side of the tranny...if yours is nastier than mine...then clean it. (J/K) Just follow the vac line, should be a hard line untill the last 6 inches or so.
Sorry it is so blurry, I just ran out and layed in tranny fluid for you.
To adjust it, pull the rubber hose off (where indicated on my pic) and there should be a hollow flat head screw in there...to raise the shift point, screw it in. (righty tighty applies here)

Sweet! I was 10 minutes from asking this same question.

The 'burb is the first slush-box I've owned, and I'm kinda lost when it comes to adjustments. BTW, my kickdown cable is hooked up.

Thanks for the answer I didn't have time to ask!
