I bought one back again-nice Cheyenne SWB

I sold this truck about 2 years ago and just bought it back. It was/is a nice driving 100% rust free truck. I paid $4,500 for it the first time (5 years ago) and $6,000 this time. The value of these trucks must be going up .
I ordered some custom Houndstooth covers, so I can change it over to factory buckets & console...and give it a little different look.
I like the factory two tone paint & trim on the Cheyenne's, but which wheel/tire? The last guy put these chrome car ralleys on, but I used to run a truck ralley with whitewalls (like you would see in 1971).

chrome rallies...and regular rallies weren't even around in '71 so they arent original either. but the chrome ones look nicer.

LOL, When I first saw that picture with the ralleys leaning up against the truck I thought "That's about the worst photoshop job I've ever seen" Then I saw the close up and figured out what was going on.

That's a really sweet truck. I like the ralleys better.

I think the truck ralleys look better on that paticular truck
since it looks stock. The chome wheels would look better
if the truck didn't have all the chrome trim and two tone
paint. My 2 cents!!

I like the chrome ralleys. One question where did you get the center cap sticker with the blue bowtie?

Stock ralleys, 60 series rubber, and a '70 Chevelle/Corvette 3-spoke cushion grip steering wheel. Beautiful truck! Is it for sale again?

I don't plan to sell it...but, who knows. Sometimes I look out in the yard at all these trucks and just start selling them off!
The company that did these steering wheels for GM, went out of business a couple years ago.
Those blue cap centers are nice...not a decal, but actually clear plastic about 1/8" thick. They were available after market a few years ago, but didn't have a GM license, so they had to stop selling them. Too bad, they were some of the best quality stick on centers made.
I guess I will just keep both sets of wheels/tires and switch when I get bored. I'll show the Houndstooth buckets when they are done.

Go to a junk yard and find a Cavalier, then you can have one, too.

Frank, I like the truck ralleys and white walls. Makes it look much cleaner and sharper.
